Maps on screen. Maps on servers. Maps in the cloud. Maps in networks. Maps in phones. Maps in freight. Maps in models. I have worked at each of those layers.
I earned a master's degree in geoinformatics in 2003 and worked on geospatial products / GIS and digital maps at Regio / Reach-U from 1995.
In 2006, I added an MBA in entrepreneurship and technology management and founded Nutiteq, which built an open-source mobile 3D map SDK product and was eventually acquired by CARTO. There I moved into product leadership for location intelligence.
At Sixfold and Transporeon / Trimble, the same geospatial foundation continued in freight visibility, sustainability and logistics data platforms: objects, vehicles and goods moving through space and time.
Today I advise at the intersection of business and technology, where AI actually pays.
